Here is what I did:

I went to the nearest Mazda dealer as indicated in the email I got from Mazda. I just told the dealer that I didn’t want to test drive the card but wanted to get the free $25 gift card. I told him to give me his business card and sign the certificate for me. He just smiled and was very corporative.

I can get out in less than 5 min. I believe that they are willing to do this for us. Because they also don’t want to waste time on you.

New Look for My Blog

November 11th, 2007 David 4 comments

At first, I’d like to thank you all for supporting my blog. I have been watching the Alexa ranking of my blog is increasing all the time in the past three months. When this was born the ranking was about 6,860,000. And then, I can see the ranking rocks to 1,147,988 in two weeks! After that, the ranking increased to 1,130,728 and then to 882,723. Two weeks ago, the ranking was 851,542. And now, the ranking is 759,419. Although Alexa is not the only method to measure the success of a website, it can tell you something. designal233.jpgAs a matter of fact, my Google Page Rank is still very low (PR=1) as well as the Technorati standing. In fact, I’m a lazy guy who is not willing to make any changes. But when I see my blog is so popular with my readers, I think it’s time to make my blog more readable. I want to bring new reading experience for you. I can’t say this blog theme is the perfect one, but it’s really an easy managing blog for me. I spent about 24 hours trying different themes. And I find this one is the best. I will still be working on it in the following days to make some small revisions. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave some comments. Let’s make this blog even better! (By the way, if you are also a blogger and willing to exchange link with me, please let me know.)

However, I have some questions in my mind. How much did you get from the major US banks in the past 3 months? Are you becoming more knowledgeable about credit cards and banks? I have got more than $600 in the past three months from BOA, AMEX, Chase, ING, and CapitalOne. I also got two checks ($54 and $25) from Citi and HSBC respectively. How about you?

Reasons for this Website

September 9th, 2007 David No comments

This afternoon Hannah said I should write a post on why I write a blog on credit cards and banks. Emm. Actually, I don’t know exactly why I would get a space to write something about cards and banks. Obviously, credit cards and banks are the most useful tools in our daily life. When we make a purcahse, we may use cashes, debit cards, checks, money orders and credit cards. As we use them more and more, we should realize that we can earn cash back from them! Not just simply use it and don’t care about the benefits that cards can bring in! Except for the cash back we can get, we should also notice that the car rental insurance and travel insurance that cards can provide. We should also know that 0 fraudbility from credit card (well, if you lose cash, they are gone). And you might also notice other programs you can get in. Why not use a credit card??? However, the truth is there are so many credit cards from so many banks. How can we choose one from them? How can we get the maxium benefits from those cards? How can we make the application process more soomthly? Well, from my own experience, I get the inspirition to write something about cards and banks. One thing we should remember is: banks are earning more from us. DO NOT feel guilty to get money from them! At the same time, I hope my readers can visit my blog frequently and give me more suggestions. Thank you very much!
