Once per year, the holiday shopping season is approaching. Other than the merchants that are trying to increase the sales. Our beloved credit card issuers, and other payment processing providers like Paypal are also trying to promote their own services. If you are lucky, you are now receiving an invitation from PayPal regarding a 5% cashback for the coming shopping season.

The invitation goes to my not-frequently-used PayPal account. The title of the email is: By invitation only: David, get 5% cash back all season long.

By receiving this email, you are pre-selected by Paypal to get a 5% chance to get more rewards for your holiday shopping.

The content of this email:

You’ve been selected to receive a special offer: PayPal Cash Back Rewards. After your second PayPal purchase, you’ll earn 5% cash back on your additional PayPal purchases* through December 21st. And with one-step sign up, you’ll be earning cash back in no time.

SO you need to sign up via click the link in the email to be eligible to get the rewards.

Some important points about this prmotion:

Receive 5% cash back (”Cash Back Rewards”) on your 3rd purchase and each purchase thereafter through December 21, 2009 (excluding tax and shipping), made from any participating U.S. merchant when you use PayPal as the payment method (”Offer”). Purchases made at eBay.com do not qualify for this Offer. Today I logged into my ING orange savings account and found that the referral promotion from ING Direct is working again. This referral promotion from ING Direct is very famous in the late 2007 and early 2008. And for a while, this promotion seemed to be dead. But in my account, I can see the banner for referring new customers to ING and earn up to $500 again. Both the referral and referred customers will earn bonus from ING Direct. $25 for new customers being referred to open a new account at ING with $250 deposit. And $10 for current ING Direct member who refer new customers to ING.

How it Works:

KeyBank is famous for offering GPS or iPod Nano for new customers who open a new checking account at Key Bank. And now Key Bank is running a new checking account bonus from which customers can earn either $125 or $225 bonus. The promotion page about this banking bonus is at: here.

According to the promotion page, it is pretty easy to get the $125 or $225 sign up bonus:

$125 is available for opening the free checking account which has no minimum balance requirement or monthly service charge. Recently, we have seen a lot of sing up bonus opportunities from major US banks. Some are even offering up to $300 bonus! It seems that a lot of regional banks are offering sign up bonus for new customers recently. Now Northwest Savings Bank is offering a $100 bonus for opening a new Switch Checking Account. This is an easy $100 to make. If you are luckily to be a resident of the states which have Northwest branches, you should take this chance to earn this $100 bonus.

How to get the $100 bonus from Northwest Savings Bank?
