Hi,
Thanks for the tips. However, i logged in into my Delta account and found that the SkyMiles redemption for Giftcards are terrible. For example, $50=8,000 miles, $100 = 17,000 miles, and $250 = 42,000 miles. Go figure why $50 giftcard has the best redemption rate!
Sounds like the title of the post should be changed, since it’s $150-$200, and it’s gift certificates, not dollars. Still might be enough for me to bite… except I’ve had this card before and so I don’t know if I can get bonuses by signing up again.
They changed the rate. It had been $50 for 5000 miles, but they were getting whacked by tons of people cashing out, so they changed it. It’s a bummer for me, because I missed being able to cash out an extra 20,000 miles for $200 by about a couple days, since my bonus miles from their credit card haven’t transferred over yet. Still got 1 card at $50 rate though.
