How to Pay Bank of America (BOA) Credit Cards Online?
Recently, there are a lot of emails from MyCardBlog.com readers regarding the easy steps to pay Bank of America (BOA) credit cards online. I must indicate that to pay Bank of America’s credit cards online is not so easy if you are not familiar with BOA’s rules and do not have checking account with them. If you have a regular checking account at Bank of America, then there is no such problem because you when you click the “pay now” button, it will re-direct you to the checking account bill pay section. Then everything is very simple.
If you do not have a regular checking account at Bank of America, you need to find other ways to pay your credit card bills online. It seems even Yahoo! answers do not have the right answers on how to pay Bank of America credit cards online. I believe it will be very easy for you if you read this post.
To pay your Bank of America credit card online from other financial institution, you have to visit www.myeasypayment.com to submit a payment online. You will need following information for each payment (This website does not store your payment and personal information!).
- Credit card number
- Last name as it appears on the credit card
- Last 4 digits of your Social Security number
- City and ZIP code where your statement is mailed to
- ABA/Routing Number of non–Bank of America financial institution
- Account number of non–Bank of America financial institution
Of course, this myeasypayment.com is also the only website that you can pay your Bank of Ameirca loans online.
If you have a Bank of Ameirca checking or savings account, you can go to your online account and click “Make Transfer” tab and follow the directions to transfer money to your credit card.
It is a little boring to remember everything for each payment at www.myeasypayment.com. Will Bank of America do something to make online payment much easier like other credit card issuers in the near future?

really? i’ve had no issues paying my BoA credit card through my wachovia online banking for past couple years… i just set it up through the “pay bill” section.

THANK YOU! Now, that my card is paid off I’m free of all insufferable and evil bank of America accounts. I had closed my checking account already, and couldn’t make a transfer payment through the normal website.
The good thing about myeasypay is that if you want to make a payment same day, you can pay up to like 8:00 and it will still be posted that day! A couple of times I meant to pay and it was after 5:00, so this saved me late fees and interest rate hikes!!
Thanks for sharing, but there is no options to look at your statements or activities on your card on this site. Boy, last month I was able to just go to bankofamerica.com and go from there using my user name and password and now I can’t!…What’s up with that or am I missing something.

I have a checking account with BofA, but the incompetents really messed up a transfer recently.
So…want to close the checking account, and only have some credit cards with them.
This gives me what I need to cut loose that BofA checking account, as I only really have it to pay my credit cards.
My BofA credit card is the most difficult bill to pay online. I don’t have a Bof A checking account so they make it very difficult. Not user friendly at all. I think I’m going to quit using this credit card so I don’t have to mess with it.

It is amazing how hard it is to make a payment on these cards!! I spent WEEKS on the phone asking why I could not pay my account online, I kept getting “This service is being setup, come back again in X days” After reading that message for a month or two I found this post and all problems are now behind me!!! Thank god BoA REALLY needs to learn how to make a site that caters to the customer and is easy to navigate! Jesus !! lol
I have a checking and savings with BoA and it’s still a pain in the ass. I click “pay now” and it ask me who to pay it to, so I type “Bank of America” and it gives me a list of variations of Bank of America, liek Bank of America credit line, BoA Credit card… etc. I don’t fucking know. I guess I’ll try the transfer thing.
Bank of America “intentionally” make the payment process difficult. It is in their best finanacial interest. Notice how they do not offer a choice of the amount that your balnace is on what is owed for the statement. This is done to make the ‘avarage’ intelligece person make a poor choice. You either 1) make the full amount owed last statement + charges since that ending statement (which 99% of Cardholder do not do as the balance is higher and they may not have the funds to cover). OR 2) pay the minimum so they will make interest (which is what they want). They do have ‘other amount’ which means you have to look at your last statement and ‘know’ you ending balance. They cleary understand the ‘average’ finanacial intelligence is LOW in the customer base. This new pay sight has earned them millions in new profits. Never bet against the banks….. I just buy the stock to try and get some of y money back!
