Citibank offered so called Citi Partner Payment Program. When one's account would be credited wit 10% of all payments made withing three months, $500 Max. Thus if your balance is $6000 and you pay $5000 you will end up owing $500 only. They do not require you to close any accounts. It’s actually not that amazing.
