Thanks SOOO much!!!! Somehow I even got 6 dollars back... Thanks so much again!
I called the first time and got a MIddle Eastern woman that couldn't do anything but then called back not even five minutes later and spoke to an American woman and got my fees forgiven. I had 75 dollars in fees. Initially she said she could only refund 70 dollars back but when she went through she was surprised cause it refunded the whole thing back and then an extra 6 dollars. Soo glad I googled this, thanks!

It is true, the maximum you can get back from a representative is $70, but
you can also go to the court and file a small claims case if you have a
legitimate case. My situation is pretty bad, I had 4 charges on the same
day, the purchases were $4.25, $9.88, $17.00, and $97.00. Well, Chase
put in the $97.00 charge first which makes me go over on the other
3 charges, I was charged $240 in in sufficient funds and overdraft fees.
I will be filing a case in the amount of $1240.00 for the fees and punitive
damages which I was not able to pay my car payment. I heard that
they will not send an attorney, it is not worth it. I will receive a call
and a check in the mail. Once that happens I will remove my money
and never deal with Chase Bank as long as I live.

Sadly the Max they can refund you is $70. I had 14 past debit charges pop up all on the same day, chase charged me $193 for $35 of debt from small charges. Im still out $153 dollars.

Gr8 post, i just had the same problem spent 30 minutes waiting at the local chase branch and the customer service there was horrible and they lied and told me there was nothing i could do. then i searched it up on the internet and came across this, got everything settled in a matter of few minutes over the phone. i know i won't be making this mistake ever again.
