This April Chase and Visa network launched a check card promotion which enabled Chase check card members to get $25 for every $250 spent on registered Chase check card. This promotion was ended on June 15, 2008. Chase also run the same check card promotion in the November 2007. Actually, this promotion was operated and sponsored by Visa network.
Yesterday, Chase launched the same promotion again. This is a similar promotion as the previous one.
You can get $25 for every $250 in qualifying purchases (no-PIN purchases) made with your Chase Visa Check Card—up to $75. (United Mileage Check Card, Leisure Rewards Check Card are also qualified for this promotion.)
Here is how it works:
- ENROLL your Chase Visa Check Card at www.chasecashyesterday.com
- USE IT from the date you enrolled your card through August 31, 2008
- GET $25 deposited to your checking account every time you make $250 in non-PIN purchases - up to $75
You have to make sure that only qualified purchases can be counted to $250. The qualifying purchases include all debit card purchases made without using a PIN. Such “non-PIN” purchases include purchases you sign for, contactless “blink” purchases, Internet purchases, phone or mail-order purchases, small dollar purchases that do not require a signature, and bill payments (where billers process the transaction as a credit card). Cash advances and cash transactions do not qualify. If you are asked “Debit or Credit” at checkout, always select “CREDIT” and sign for the purchase.
As always, if you can’t spend $750 before August 31, you can purchase some gift cards for future use. This is equal to 10% off for everything in your future purchases.
