Thanks for detailing the steps needed to get the Amazon Gold Box discount. I have personally used this trick several times in the past, so am pretty confident I am doing it right. However, I have not been able to get the items I want in my Goldbox recently (last week or so). I have even created two new Amazon accounts (now have 4), with no success. Everything that is showing up in my "Today's Deal" "Quick Picks" is completely unrelated to my searches, ratings, and the items I have marked as "I Own it," i.e., I have makeup items and craft books in my Goldbox "Quick Picks," when I have actually been rating/marking camera items.

I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem getting the Goldbox trick to work. In my case, the purchase I am debating is $3,500, so the Goldbox trick would save me $175.

Thanks in advance for any help!
