Today I received 2 emails concerning the year end summary (credit card usage) from Chase. It’s a great tool to track your yearly spending and prepare your household budget for the next year. I have a Chase Freedom Card and a Amazon.Com card, both of which will provide year end summary.
To review your year end summary:
1.You can login to your account at www.chase.com/yearend.
2. On the Statements page, click the “Year End Summary” link at the bottom of the page.
The year end summery will give you month by month list of your spending at Travel & Entertainment, Restaurant, Automotive, Merchandise, Services, and Miscellaneous. It will also give you detailed list of your transactions—a good time to find out wrong transactions and file dispute. Hereby, I strongly recommend you all to look through your year end summary. One of my friends found out that he has been charging by the Reservation
Rewards Program all the time in the past 11 months with a $11 monthly fees. And he doesn’t know what it is!
The Starwood Preferred Guest Card from American Express also provided year end summary for its cardmembers. the Starwood Preferred Guest Card from American Express features:
- Earn 10,000 Starpoints® with your first purchase — enough for up to 3 free nights at a category 1 or 2 hotel.
- Earn 15,000 bonus Starpoints after you spend $15,000 in 6 months
- Use Starpoints® for free nights and upgrades at over 825 participating Starwood hotels and resorts in 95 countries
- Transfer Starpoints® — almost always on a 1:1 basis — to the frequent flyer programs of over 30 major airlines
- Earn one Starpoint® for every dollar you spend and double Starpoints® at participating Starwood properties and retail partners
- No annual fee for the first year and $45 thereafter
- Express Approval. Get a decision in less than 60 seconds.

Starwood is BY FAR the best program. If you have the card(automatic Prefferd level and Gold if spend 30k a year which will then be matched by many other programs etc.Priority, BestWestern and many others)then you can get by far the most for your points if you know how to take advantage(do cash and points) and you get MUCH MORE per point. They give away points as bonus and other things like they’re going out of stlye. Start with flyertalk.com forums to see how to maximize points.(call3 p.m. est-best timeto get the call traffic 500 point bonus)It’s also the best mileage card out there.
p.s. if you get the card please give them when you apply:
unique id=3073813873 and sourcecode=a00000582s if you don’t get asked call them up immediately after applying and give them number and tell them that you weren’t given oppurtunity to giva a code. I got this offer in mail that will give me 5000 points for refering. If you want you can e-mail me to tell me that you did it and I can e-mail you all my tips I know for hotel programs. carrotcar@gmail.com

then, I can do nothing to help you. You should contact Chase if you have an online account with them.

Agree with previous comments by others: This is the most complicated year end log in site immaginable. One long page full of unwanted “possible offers” and “Possible bonuses” but no specific directions of how to access an account. No instructions on how to log in.
Please mail my 2007 year summary.

This is the most frustrating waste of time. I finally succeeded in getting in to the year end summary a couple days ago after at least a half hour of trying different ways to get there, and now am having the same problem.

I can’t understand why Chase would offer a “free” year end summary and then put me through a maze of websites that have nothing to do with my Chase year end summary.
This is extremely frustrating!
I may even change my accounts because of it.
Chase is so interested in selling things that it has lost sight of its customer needs!

This is probably the worst offer I have ever experienced.
The Chase managers should be proud of the completely stupid
(FREE!!!) “OFFER” for a year end summary. You have succeeded
in my arranging to change my bank. I can”t afford to waste my time on such a witless crew as Chase.
