Chase Free Checking $125 Banking Bonus

Posted on 30 January 2008

Chase is currently offering a $125 sign up bonus for their Chase Free Checking Account with Direct Deposit. (Previously, they were offering $100.)

Just open a new Chase Free Checking Account with Direct Deposit with a minimum opening deposit of $100 at a Chase bank location near you, and you’ll receive the $125 banking bonus in 60 days, but you must print out the promotional certificate, which has a unique promotional code. The most important thing is to get the $125 coupon. Hereby I’m giving out a link to get the $125 coupon for those who want to open a checking account at Chase.

Chase Free Checking $125 Coupon Link (until 04/31/08)

In order to get this coupon, you must can login to the Chase online account, which means you must have a credit card account or other non-checking accounts with them. If you already have a checking account with them, this link will be invalid.

Print out your $125 Chase banking bonus offer, bring it to your local Chase bank to open a new Chase Free Checking Account with Direct Deposit (with a minimum opening deposit of $100 and a repeating direct deposit), and you will receive your $125 bonus.

Update: Because lots of readers want to open a checking account at Chase but the link to the coupon is expired. A very easy way to get a Chase $125 coupon is to get a moving package from the USPS office.

I contacted chase and asked about an ING ach transfer into a checking account counting as a direct deposit and was assured that is would be. I also asked about how much would be needed to be transfered in order to qualify for the $125 bonus and was told that there was no minimum. I find this hard to believe. Do you know if there is a minimum amount needed in the ach transfer to qualify for the $125. Thanks.

Hi Joe. There is no minimum amount needed to qualify for the $125 bonus. You can set account alert at your online account. Once a direct deposit is done, Chase will send you an email. From my own experience, even a trial deposit from ING Direct is counted as Direct Deposit. But I usually transfer $40 per month to Chase checking account.
